Converting to a vegetarian lifestyle?

I believe that healthy eating is fine – be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Too much of anything is harmful. From experience I believe that a mixed diet, whch is rightly balanced, is apt for all. But we need to figure out the best diet that suits us.

Having tried vegetarianism just after college, I can confidently comment on being a vegetarian. My stint with vegetarianism lasted 8 long years. It went well at first – I felt great – but I felt more and more exhausted as time went by. The problem was that I simply wasn’t consuming enough calories (which I found out later) Moreover I missed the mouth watering dishes that I used to consume earlier. Thus, if you try vegetarianism, make sure to include a lot of higher-calorie items in your diet.

I am not anti-vegetarian, just expressing my feelings and my experience. Feel free to share and express your views.
