The offer is for a Netbook (small-sized, low-cost, light weight, lean function notebooks optimized for Internet access and core computing functions). Netbooks are priced in the range of $300-$500. Size-wise, they typically have 9 or 10 inch screens, weigh from 2 to 3 pounds, and sport keyboards sized from 80 percent to 95 percent of normal. These lightweight machines with the power of 3G data network could become very popular in the market. The rollout is expected to start in Atlanta and Philadelphia.
